Time Out for Women

As part of our Christmas gifts this year, my sweet Mom got us tickets to Time Out for Women.  I wish I would've taken a picture when my Grandma was with us, but she could only come to the evening session, due to a hurt back.  It was really fun hanging out together, shopping and being spiritually uplifted.  My very favorite part was when Jericho Road performed a boy band medley and all the ladies went bezerck!

Meet the Draculas!

This year Chloe chose our costumes, based on one of her favorite movies, Hotel Transylvania! She wanted to be Mavis, so Ronnie and I were Drac and Martha and Avery was Mavis as well.  Chloe had a great time dressing up for pre-school, we helped Ronnie with a carnival for GlitchBusters and went trick or treating around my parents neighborhood!  We had a blast and wore the girls right out!

Pumpkin Carving 2013

This year we enjoyed pumpkin carving with just our little family!  We had a blast and the girls even touched the pumpkin guts, a first for them (Chloe usually dry heaves)!

Chloe Turns 4!!!

I can hardly believe that my baby girl is already 4 years old!  She has grown into such a loving, caring, sensitive, helpful, intelligent, fun-loving girl!  She loves to give snuggles, especially every night with Daddy before going to bed and is always ready to give hugs.  Chloe usually has a pretty good attitude, but is DEFINITELY not a morning person (inherited from yours truly)!  Every morning that she has to be woken up early, she moans and groans, stretches, grunts and says "Can I have 5 more minutes Mom?!"  She has a killer memory and often recalls things out of the blue from a year or two ago with perfect clarity.  It's very easy for her to memorize songs and she has already performed her first solo in the primary program, and I'm totally gonna brag, she did it perfectly!  She was on key, on rhythm and knew every word!  We were so proud!

Chloe is an awesome big sister and was totally meant to be the first child in our family!  She is almost always willing to help me with her sister, with housework, and cooking.  She loves going shopping with me, especially for clothes and shoes.  Her jobs are the silverware in the dishwasher, dusting, taking out poopy diapers, cleaning her bathroom toilet, and the odd job here or there.  Right now she loves cleaning and being helpful, so hopefully we can keep it that way!  If ever she is being mean or whiny to her sister or anyone really, I kindly remind her that she is the big sister and needs to be an example, and she'll usually reply "Oh, ya...I need to take care of my sister.  Sorry Mom!".  She's very logical and intelligent, so if you explain something to her that she didn't understand she'll say "Oh, got it Mom!", and integrate that into her life, no joke!

My girl is ALWAYS talking and her mind never stops!  This is most evident when we are driving, and since we've moved to Ivins, everything is a good distance away and gives her ample time to ask me question after question!  "Green means go, right Mom?"  "Mom, when is Jesus coming back?"  "How many minutes until we get there?" "How many days until my birthday?"  "How did the clouds get up there?"  "Why do we have trees?"  "Mom where does Taylor Swift live?"  "Can we listen to Ever Ever (We Are Never Getting Back Together)?"  "When can we go to Disneyland?"  "Will you pray to Heavenly Father to see when we get a baby brother?" She also makes up her own songs in the car with whatever she sees or is thinking about, usually mixed with church song words and tunes.

She is also a big feeler....she can be completely delighted and happy one minute, and burst into hysterics the next.  Like gut wrenching, face contorting, screaming hysteria.  She is a great conversationalist and asks very insightful questions.  She always asks Ronnie how his day was and if he just says good she'll say "So it wasn't very crazy?".  The other day she was talking to her Nana on the phone and asked her how her day was and followed with "My Dad's day is always crazy!".

Chloe LOVES preschool and is learning so much!  Everyday she comes home having learned a new letter and it's sound and can recognize it.  She can recognize all of her numbers now too.  She loves learning new songs and nursery rhymes and playing with her best friend Parlee.

Favorite Color:  Pink
Favorite food:  Mac and Cheese
Favorite Movie:  Hotel Transylvannia
Favorite thing to do:  Play with toys with Avery
Best Friend:  Lucie and Hannah and Mimi and Avery and Parlee
Favorite Place:  Disneyland (she's never been there..)

My GlitchBuster

I just wanted to take a minute and talk about how proud I am of my amazing husband, Ronnie!!!  For the last two years he has been working tirelessly with his brother to build GlitchBusters and providing for our family.  He put in long hours and years at the radio station and has now converted them over to a Managed IT account instead of his employer.  Now all of his paycheck goes to GB and he cleans carpets to pay our bills and still comes home smiling and excited because he LOVES being in charge of his work and fixing computers.  He is a natural business man and leader and has the most generous heart of anyone I know.  I'm always trying to be the tough or shrewd business person, but he just gives and understands and works with people.  His biggest goal in life is to be able to make enough money to get his parents out of debt and be able to take care of them and anyone else that needs help.  He is an incredible person and I love and respect him SO much!  I also have to give a shout out to my brother in law Chris!  He kept things going while Ronnie was at the radio station and worked countless hours alone in the shop.  He is also selfless and generous, and so understanding of what needs to happen to get this business going!  Even though he's still busy finishing his degree, he's at the shop every day and never complains!  These guys are AWESOME!

Witches Night Out

Sam, Mandy, Trit, Lily, Janelle and Steph

I had a fantastic time at Witches Night Out at Staheli Farms with these crazy ladies!!!  Halloween is my favorite holiday (what's not to love about candy and playing dress up?) so I always go all out and LOVE every bit of it!  This year I went as more of a traditional witch and made my hat, skirt and shoes.  It was a blast eating the tasty dinner, going on a witch hunt and winning killer prizes!  This year I won an over night stay at Eagle Point Lodge in Beaver!!!  I'm so excited to plan a trip away with my hubby!  Love these ladies!!!!

Baby Milly

All of the Rimmasch grandkids: Mailey, Chloe, Carter, Kyle, Alec, Milly and Avery!
They were so happy to be together for the weekend!

The last good picture of my long hair before I chopped it!  Eek!
Baby Milly was so sweet!

Visiting the "Jasmine Castle" just for Chloe
Visiting the cute little petting zoo in Scipio :)

In September my sweet baby niece Milly was born to my brother's family and we were able to go up with my Mom to see her!  It worked out really well, because Ronnie was on a campout with the scouts (he's the scoutmaster)!  The girls had a great time with their cousins and it was nice being able to help out, hold sweet Milly Dawn and relax.  It was also great having all of that one on one time with my awesome Mama :)

This is a few month late, but I thought I'd better share.  We had a blast in Pine Valley at the Mangum reunion this year and it was extra relaxing because I wasn't in charge!!!!  It was so nice to be able to go up and not have to stress about anything!  We had so much fun eating good food, having the auction, playing horse shoes, having a movie night, tie dying and just being with family :)  Love those crazy Mangums!
