Baby Mango

This week I have a mango inside of me! Not a whole lot going on in development this week (according to this website) and not a whole lot to report on the pregnancy, which I suppose is a good thing! We're going to start looking into prenatal classes...I'm about 98% sure that I want to have a natural birth and have had suggestions to look into the Bradley Method and Hypnobirthing. I also want to take the regular class, just so we can get the full spectrum of information. My tummy is getting big and I definitely am showing no matter what I wear! I'll put a picture up soon!

Where has the time gone???

Alright...I've been good about updates on the baby, but the rest of our life has been kind of skipped over...which is probably how it's going to be from now on ;) Anyway, here is a sampling of our life for your viewing pleasure.

The killer haircut I gave Steph with a sweet spike!
Ronnie and me at the Sugarloaf aka Dixie Rock

Me and the baby fitting in a really little hole...we'll try that in a couple months

Our last morning with Ahyoung....sniff...it was so sad to say goodbye...even though we're smiling

Dusty (in his women's wranglers) and me on theme day

Ronnie and Eric making Jiao Zi at our Chinese Night

Colby and Ronnie with their "Man Mug" rootbeer floats (also called a pickle jar and a water piture)

Colby's Man Spoon (also called a soup ladle)

Kara and me on the morning of her farewell. I went over early to spend some time and do her hair. She'll be serving in the Tampa Florida Spanish speaking mission. We'll miss her!

We hope everyone is having a fantastic summer!

Baby Sweet Potato

Our baby just keeps getting prettier and prettier...atleast it smells better this week! Your fetus has become amazingly mobile (at least compared to you), passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing. And, baby's finally big enough that you'll be able to feel those movements soon.
Well, I am now definitely showing and can feel my stomach growing! It's especially huge right after I eat! Baby made a big move yesterday...I thought for sure Ronnie would be able to feel it...it felt so huge to me! I wish we had a nickname for our little baby....oh well...in a couple of weeks we can call it either baby Max or baby Chloe!!!

Baby Onion

Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints.
We had a doctor appoinment today and were able to listen to the heartbeat for a whole 20 seconds! Last time it was about 2 seconds, so we were really excited! Our doc is just so quick and down to business and we thankfully don't have any special circumstances, so it's always a short visit! Anyhow, everything is great and we get to find out what we're having on July 17!!! Woo hoo! We are so excited!!! I'm going to put a voter thingy up, so make a guess as to what we're having!!!

Baby is an Avocado!

Watch what you say... tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. Our baby can hear us!!! I feel just as great as ever! Lots of energy...feeling very unpregnant except for the fact that I can feel it move from time to time! Last night on my way home I was blasting the radio and it just started going crazy! It was moving for atleast two or three minutes! I can't wait until it's bigger and Ronnie can feel it too!

Baby is an Orange

This week our little baby is the size of a navel orange! It's legs are now longer than it's arms and all four limbs have functional joints! Baby is squirming and wiggling around and I'm pretty sure I've felt its little flutterings! I've had tons of energy this past week and am now loving not feeling pregnant (it worried me for a while there)! I can't believe how quickly time is passing-this baby is going to be here before we know it-I just hope we can be ready!
