Chloe is Four Months Old!

What a crazy, happy, fun four months we've had! We love this little character so much! She is such a sweet little girl and we love her so much! This past month Chloe has:

  • Started holding her own bottle
  • Grabbing objects and putting them to her mouth
  • Lifting her head almost 90 degrees during tummy time
  • Going to bed without her binky
  • Jabbering to herself
  • Tried rice cereal (and not liked it)
  • Jabber-crying
  • Gone on lots of walks with her Mom in the warm weather
  • Went in the jogging stroller for the first time and zonked
  • Doesn't cry as much when she has a dirty diaper

We love you so much babycakes, bugaboo, Chloe-bug!

PS I took these pictures...aren't you proud?

Last Monday we had the opportunity to basically have a paid vacation "up North". Ronnie works for a cash register company based out of Layton and they had a training last week. They paid for gas, food, hotel, and hourly and they let him take Chloe and me along with him! The first few days Ronnie was training and going on calls all day so Chlo and I made the most of it at the hotel and around town using the GPS. On Wednesday I drove for the first time to Salt Lake and had lunch with one of my besties Brooke. Later that evening we visited and ate dinner with Ronnie's brothers Eric and Miles and their families. It was so great visiting them, since we don't get to very often! Then Thursday Ronnie went clear down to Filmore for a call, so I checked out of the hotel all by my lonesome and drove to Salt Lake once again (this time through a scary rain shower) to my Grandma Millie's (my Dad's Mom) house to stay for the night. Ronnie met up with us later that evening and we had a lovely dinner with Grandma and my cousin Danny-later on my Dad's brother and his wife came to meet Chloe :)

The next day we spent with Grandma and then that evening we drove to Provo to go out to dinner and the BYU vs Pepperdine men's volleyball game with some of my buddies from high school! It was SOOOOO much fun and so great to see friends! That night we stayed with Ronnie's cousin Michael and his family. We had a lot of fun with them, including a surprise baby shower for cousin Julie and going out to our traditional stop, Los Armanos! Sunday we spent with my brother AJ and his family, who made us delicious fajitas and fruit salad! They have the cutest, most fun little family and it was a blast hanging out with them! Last but definitely not least, we went to IKEA!!!! It lived up to everything wonderful I've ever heard about it and left me itching to actually decorate our house...too bad we don't have the mula to do it! Well, if you stuck with me to here, congrats! Thanks to everyone and their generosity that made our little vacation possible! We had an awesome trip!
