Well folks, here it is! Our little baby bump! This picture was taken early last week, so around 20 1/2 weeks. This is also my first maternity outfit!!! The shorts are amazing-they're the secret fit kind and they are so comfy! I definitely recommend them!
I've been feeling just great, though it is getting a little harder to bend over and on Sunday my feet looked like giant sausages. Since my stomach has really started to show, reality is setting in a little more, so we bought our first pack of diapers! I know! We got huggies because we really have no clue, so I want to ask all of you moms out there-which diapers are your favorite??? Leave a comment please!!!

That is just the dang cutest baby bump ever!! :) I'm glad to hear you are feeling good so far! If that changes, put that Ronnie boy to work waitin' on you. :)
So, I'm all about frugality and common sense and when it came to diapering both of our girls, I was a Huggies mom all the way. What I liked about them was that they were soft and thin and held TONS of, well, you know. The little velcro tabs didn't jump the top edge of the diaper and cut in to little baby's belly and I can't even remember a time when they leaked. Well, there was that one time when Melissa totally blew her britches. Eew. I tried every brand I could get my hands on and finally determined that Huggies was the bomb for us.
I hope all continues to go well for you!!
Love to Ronnie!
You are so cute! Sorry, I have no diaper advice..
I am too cheap for Huggies, so we used luvs most of the time. When they are brand new you have to change them all of the time anyway, it doesn't matter as much how much they hold until they are a little older. You look adorable by the way!
cloth diapers are the way to go(ya right)..... i usually go with the cheapest brand and whats on sale. you better text me and tell me what you are having.
Newborn and size 1 you have to try Pampers Swaddlers! They are the VERY best for that newborn poop. However, I know little ones with sensitive skin are sometimes irritated by them. If you must, use a different one for a little while then go back to the "swaddlers." Size 2 and up I only use Huggies Natural Fit (I think that's what they are called. They are in the red box NOT the white box.) That's what I do... but anyway.
Don't get Target Brand. My friend got a bunch of those for her baby, and they just leaked and leaked. They held nothing! So stay clear of those.
aww, you are so dang cute! Enjoy that little cute baby bump, it gets bigger and bigger and bigger, and soon you can't see your sausage toes. at all. haha. as for diapers, get a wide variety. I hear they grow out super duper fast. Everyone is giving me boxes of newborns that they only used half of, so make sure you just get a whole lot of different ones.
i'm excited for you guys!!!!
You look so good! That baby bump sure does help reality set in! I just thought I'd let you know even though my little one is only 3 months. We got a package of every type of diaper and let me tell you I will never go back from Huggies! So stick with it! It is so worth it!!!!
Rob and I used Huggies till Cooper was in a size 3 diaper, the were the bomb dot com!! Now we actually by the costco brand. But you will know what works best for you. You can return them and get a different brand (just dont open them) so no worries
I recommend Huggies!!..You can get them the cheapest at Big Lots..I have tried lots and none of them compare to huggies..Dont even try Parents Choice..They leak like crazy!!
SAm I like Huggies I have tried Luvs and pampers I DONT like Luvs they fill cheap I dont like them. went to huggies.com(I think) and sighned up for coupons for them Its only like $1.50 off but that $1.50 adds up!!! on that website you can sign up for gerber coupons also. I LOVE LOVE coupons they save me!!! As far as wipes go I havent ever bought wipes I make mine even to this day its a lot cheaper. Let me know if you want the recipe.
