The masses of people pushing to get into the general session...I seriously could've lifted up my feet and hung there. It was packed and when they opened the doors they made the announcement that if you ran you'd be sent back because they didn't want anyone to get trampled...ya...hard core. There were over 2,000 future professionals there.
The humongous stage and room that we had the general session in
Waiting for the session to start

Other up do :D

Holy cow!!! Caper was SO so incredible and the experience of a lifetime! There were over 2,000 future professionals from aross the nation! The first day was all free time, the second day we had a "general sesson" with all the superstars of hair: Robert Cromeans, Stephanie Kocielski. Linda Yodice, Scott Cole, Angus Mitchell, Takashi (whom I did meet, but he was wearing a scandalous shirt, so I didn't post the picture), Noogie, and then Winn Claybaugh and JP Dejoria were there too! AH! That night we had a hollywood glam themed party and the next day was filled with classes! I totally made out like a bandit too: I got 3 mannequin heads (seriously $60 each) and tons of free product! YES! It was most definitely worth selling all of the bags, but I was happy to come home to my sweet hubby Ronnie. I just kept thinking "this would be SO much more fun if Ronnie were here". Anywho, thanks to everyone that bought bags from me and helped me get to Vegas!

Happy 21st Birthday my little Brookie Shanaenae! This girl is so amazing, beautiful, talented, fun and smart! I'm so grateful that she is one of my very best friends! To celebrate we went to the lavish Pirate Island! AAaaaar! It was actually a pretty fun atmosphere and had tasty chicken alfredo pizza! We had so much fun catching up and of course, reminiscing...poor people who were there that didn't go to high school with us...The pirates even sang to Brookie and brought her birthday cake ice cream!

Steph and Ahjoung go to Preference!

Aw....my little babies are all grown up and going to dances! I LOVE these girls so much and had fun helping them get ready for their dance. I can't believe that Steph is already 16 and dating and driving and so mature, and I'm so grateful to have Ahyoung in our family! She is such a wonderful, cheerful, loving person :D Ronnie and I also did their group pictures...I'll post them when I'm on the big compi!

Year and a Half Mark!

Well, here we are, a year and half later to the date, and I can't figure out how to turn off this darn underlined thingy...sigh...oh well! Life is wonderful and we are so ridiculously happy! I love my hubby so much! He's just as handsome and kind, can still make me laugh harder than anyone else I know and loves me no matter what! What a guy! I love you honey!

Shoot Me

Here is a sample of my first ever photo shoot, with none other than the AMAZING Nick and Signe Adams! They are incredible and I've been following their work for some time, so it was a complete honor to have them take the photos for our school's photo shoot. My model is my wonderful friend Jessica, without whom I wouldn't have even attempted to do this shoot....thanks Jess! She was totally awesome! I did her hair color (weave), style and makeup (I also made the hair piece). It was crazy and a tad stressful, but a total blast! Thanks to everyone that made it possible! Paul Mitchell ROCKS!

Funraiser Kickoff at Paul Mitchell

Brandi, Sara, Morgan and me...hippie style.
My Learning Leader Julie and me in my Mom's vintage bell bottoms...oh ya...
Micky and Me
Kayla and a confused me playing Sing Star

Every year my school kicks off a "fun"raising season starting in February and ending in April. We have fundraisers weekly and give all of the proceeds, along with every Paul Mitchell school, to 5 different charities: The Larry King Cardiac Foundation, Cancer Shmancer, The Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation (for people living with depression) Food 4 Africa, and Leeza's Place (A support group/home for people with chronic illnesses). Just another wonderful reason why I love Paul Mitchell!
For the kickoff the theme was Love, Peace, Give, so we dressed up like hippies, tie dyed shirts, played Sing Star/Dance Factory, had yummy food, and listened to a conference call to get us totally jazzed! It was a blast!
