So a few weeks ago, I decided that we were going to become a "fun family". This means that we'll go on a family outing every Saturday, but it has to be either cheap or free....we have a very limited budget. Two Saturdays ago we hiked the Chuckawalla Trail because it is FREE :) We were going to go early in the morning, but Ronnie had choir practice, so we didn't get there until 11am and it was H.O.T. We ended up only hiking about halfway and then turning around-all the while dumping water on all of our heads to keep cool. We may have been wasted and sweaty, but I felt like a fun family :)

It's those bonding (wasted and sweaty) moments that you remember most.
haha that looks like fun still- i think your fun family Idea is great i want to steal it and do that too if you dont mind- i will give you the credit though.
haha thats funny! We tried going on that trail last summer with Ellie and Alex and after carrying them what felt like the whole time we also turned around! Someday we will go and finish it!
