Last month, the day after the air/barfy show, Ronnie and I got the barfies, so my sister came and picked up the girls so my parents could keep them for the day. When they brought them back, both girls were asleep holding hands. My parents said that Avery was crying and Chloe started singing I am a Child of God to calm her down. I'm so grateful for my sweet girls. They already love and adore each other and Chloe is jumping into the role of protective older sister and takes such good care of Avery.

Silly Girls
I think these pictures pretty much speak for themselves. I love my silly family. I love talking in silly voices and telling silly stories. I love running around and playing tickle monster or ganging up on ticklish Daddy. Being silly helps me remember what is most important in life, and forget about my dirty house, my mountain of laundry and melt away all of my stress. Being silly rocks!
Air Show!
Pre-barfies
Post-barfies
the Wing Walker
All barfing aside, we had a BLAST at the airshow last month. Poor Chloe barfed on the bouncy ride in and barfed all over her stroller as we blazed through the bumpy parking lot, trying to beat everyone else on the way out. In between barfing episodes we were able to visit with good friends (which is pretty amazing since there were about 20,000 people there), eat yummy snacks, oh and watch airplanes fly! There were some really cool planes and stunts, including the wing walker which was pretty crazy (picture above). The blue angels were pretty fantastic too-their precision was incredible and at times, breathtaking. We tried to leave a bit early, but it seemed that the herd affect took over the crowd as soon as we had the thought to go, so we didn't beat anyone :( So after barfy-magee got red licorice puke all over herself, the stroller and the blanket, we made it back to the car and into the gargantuan line to get home. It took about an hour, but we made it to my parents house to pick up Aves, but then decided to stay since Chloe was puking the whole way there. My mom helped me take care of the kids and we ordered pizza and stayed in. The next day we had the barfies and a few days later my parents got it :( BUT, the airshow was really fun-because that's what this post was supposed to be about, right? Right.

Happy Easter!
Church was amazing on Easter Sunday. I felt the Spirit so strongly and was so energized when we got home! The choir sang in sacrament meeting and Ronnie sang an arrangement of I Know That My Redeemer Lives while I accompanied him. We totally spaced practicing until the day before (unfortunately, very typical of us), but literally, through the grace of God, we were able to pull it off. I offered up so many prayers that I could just get through and that people would be deaf to my mistakes, and it totally happened! I love that God answers even the little prayers :) That evening we went to my Grandma's house for dinner and an Easter egg hunt, then stayed after to visit with my awesome grandparents. Love those guys!

Avery's 4 Months Old!
We just love our sweet little Avey-Cakes to pieces! Here's what she's been up to this month:
- She's started to laugh! She laughs when I sing to her (not sure if she enjoys it or she's making fun of me...), when we play peek-a-boo and when I bob my head at her.
- Still a thumb sucker, finger eater
- Tried rice cereal for the first time last night and her initial reaction was a smile :)
- Can sit in the bumbo
- Is starting to want to stand
- Has found her voice and makes sweet noises all the time
- Still sleeps swaddled in her bouncer, sleeps from about 10-6
- Is always pulling her headband over her eyes when she gets mad
- Still drinks 6-7 oz
- Wears size 3 diapers
- 6-9 months clothing
- Seems to have tummy issues at night sometimes (especially when we're out somewhere).
- Likes to blow little raspberries and vibrate her lips.
- Has the sweetest open mouth smile around.
- Is the blow out queen! It doesn't matter what size we do, the girl has got some high pressured poop!
- Is super content 99% of the time and will just bounce in her bouncer chair until she's hungry
- Loves her big sister and gives her tons of smiles, even when she's being smothered.
- Most people say that Avery is Chloe's little clone and that they both look like their Daddy.
- Still a little baldy, though she does have a little peach fuzz on top.
- She is our morning glory! She wakes up happy and smiling at 6 am, even before she's had her bottle. She is one cheerful baby girl!
- 16 lbs
- 25 inches long
- Head 17 inches
- She's in the 90th percentile for everything! Go Avery!
I know I've said it a lot in this post, but the best word to describe Aves is sweet! She is so soft and easy going and happy. We love having her in our home and I love have two little girls!
PS Her ears don't really stick out that much, it's just the headband, though she makes it look pretty cute!
