Pine Valley Fun
Nate & Brooke whispered a very appealing invitation to us when we were over at Mom and Dad LeBaron's on Sunday - to go with them up to Brooke's Parents' cabin up on Pine Valley to spend the night and play in the mountains with them on Monday. We said yes, of course, and we left shortly thereafter for a fabulous romp in the beautiful and refreshing landscape of the beautiful little Pine Valley town. We played Wii for hours, rode four-wheelers, had a smashing grand slam breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and bacon for breakfast Monday morning, a BBQ for lunch, and went on a beautiful nature hike with them and their adorable kids. I'll post some pictures of it later, but I wanted to make sure and at least get something up for now.
Baby is a Lemon
Well this week our peach has turned into a lemon...a large lemon I'm guessing, since it seems that peaches are bigger than lemons around here. Anywho, this week our baby could be sucking it's thumb, wiggling it's toes, and...making urine! Isn't that exciting??? So far this week
1. I've been craving watermelon every day
2. I don't really feel pregnant and that's a little scary
3. I'm definitely feeling my energy come back
4. I just feel fat because I don't feel prego and I don't really look prego, so it's just fat feeling :(
5. I'm realizing there are a lot of people we still haven't told, so sorry if you're one of them!

H-O-T spells Sam! (yes, people, this is Ronnie posting)
Check her OUT! Isn't she a doll? We're so stinking excited to tell everyone that we're going to have a baby! OK, OK, so you can't see much more than a little bump, but we couldn't wait to do a tummy shoot!
Those of you who know me personally, will attest to the fact that I'm absolutely horrible at blogging, but now I have something to keep me going. I'm going to have a baby to show off! There's nothing that excites me more than having our own little munchkin and documenting his/her (hopefully her!) early life through photography and showing her? off to the whole wide world on this blog.
Anyway, enough about the kid, this is about Sam right? But anyway, seriously, Sam, this is for you. I love you more than anything and am so grateful for you in my life and for everything you do. My wife is the best EVER!

Look at this little R-A-S-C-A-L!
Hey all! It's Ronnie, the proud man whose boys can swim! I'm so excited for the baby that's on the way. I told Sam that this post was gonna be mine, so I exercised all my powers of girlie-mann creation and put together this little scrap-bookie thingy for all y'all's viewing pleasure!
It's my first post here, so go easy on me eh?

Baby is a Peach!
Well if the baby ticker didn't tip you off, yes, we are 13 weeks PREGNANT! I wanted to wait for a post until I could scan in the pictures from our ultrasound, but Ronnie accidentally sold our scanner...so I decided to do a weekly fruit comparison!
This week our baby is the size of a peach! It is forming teeth and vocal cords, which I'm sure we'll hear much more from in about six months!
So far my symptoms have been pretty mild. I have been:
1. Extremely exhausted, even when I do sleep all the way through the night
2. I wake up every morning at 3 to use the bathroom
3. Have definitely experience food aversions and cravings. If I think of a certain meal or food, I suddenly have to have it or life is meaningless
4. I've had more gas than a frat boy and that is slightly embarrassing in public
5. I haven't thrown up at all (blessedly so), but hugs and kisses make me queasy because I either have to be squeezed or close my eyes. Poor Ronnie...he's being a really good sport though!

I am of Age
My tasty virgin margarita to celebrate my legallity
Ronnie's breadstick stogey
My Princess Party!
Andrea the Mixer
Birthday bbq at my parents house
Well, my 21st birthday came and went, but not without a bash thanks to my wonderful family! On Monday night (sorry, no pictures) my wonderful in-laws had a little birthday gathering at Grandpa's Pond where we had cake and ice cream! Thursday night Ronnie and I went out to Olive Garden (using the last of the tip jar...sigh) where I got my special mango strawberry virgin birthday margarita! They even put a candle in it for me! Friday night my sil Andrea hosted a Princess Party with all the girls in the family! We dressed up in our finest and had tasty food! Andrea pulled out all the stops and did some margarita mixin' of her own! It was soooo much fun! Saturday Ronnie surprised me with a sunflower bouqet while I was at school and after school we went to my parents house for a Kabob Bbq!!! Oh man...it was soooooo tasty and soooo much fun (there aren't very many pictures because I couldn't find my camera for a while)! Thanks so much to my wonderful family and husband for making my birthday so special!
